1955 Chevrolet Bel Air For Sale Stock #2432C Dark Cherry Metallic exterior, Light Gray cloth interior. Small block Chevrolet V8 engine, 4 speed manual transmission. Turn back the clock with this classic '55 Chevy! This mild custom looks to have been recently built, and is in very nice condition. Body lines are very straight, with no apparent rust or rot. This car's paint is very good, showing a deep shine. Chrome bumpers are very good to excellent, showing little to no wear, and a great shine. Stainless trim is very good as well, and the taillights are free of cracks. Weatherstripping appears to be recent, and is in very good condition. Exterior door handles are very good to excellent with no pitting or finish issues. A set of chrome 15 inch 6 spoke American Racing wheels have been added, and are in excellent condition. These wheels wear BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter tires with the blackwalls facing out, which are nearly new with an average of 10/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air shows custom front bucket seats, which appear to be similar to the ones that would have been found in the full-size 1988-94 GM trucks. These seats have been covered in soft cloth, and show the bowtie emblem on the seatbacks. Rear bench seat has also been done in the same material. The dash of this car appears to be mostly stock, with the exception of underdash-mounted added oil pressure, water temp, and voltmeter gauges. A tilt steering column has been added, along with a chrome steering wheel with flames. Door panels and carpet match the seats, and are in very nice condition as well. Factory gauge (speedometer) is in good condition with typical fading and a good condition lens. Other interior additions include universal center console with skull, hex and curse bottles with skull caps, skull cigarette lighter, rear skull speakers, skull lock knobs, skull shift knob, Custom Auto Sound AM/FM/Cassette stereo, Hurst shifter, and a skull for the package tray. The engine in this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air features TONS of dress-up accessories, including chrome horns, water pump, timing cover, valve covers with flames, alternator, alternator bracket, control arms, oil filler tube, water outlet, and triangular Weiand air cleaner. Polished items include radiator support, wire looms, upper radiator flex hose, and 4 barrel Holley carburetor. The intake manifold on this car shows a correct casting number for a 1966-67 327ci/300hp Corvette, and the previous owner claims that the engine itself is a 327ci/300hp as well. An electric fan has been added, and this engine compartment has been very nicely detailed, with recent paint showing on the engine block and intake. Exhaust flows through cast iron GM manifolds, and exits on the sides of the car just in front of the rear wheels. Frame is solid and rust-free.
